Dax Riggs (Acid Bath frontman) has been releasing phenomenal albums under various band names (I love Deadboy and the Elephantmen) over the past few decades. His latest "7 Songs for Spiders" was officially released today. Anyone familiar with his solo work will recognize that signature delivery and pace. He is a rock and roll crooner (think Bowie, later era Marilyn Manson and Chris Cornell put into a blender) who's material touches upon heartbreak in a really intense way. "7 Songs for Spiders" is beautifully fuzzed out and groovy psychodelic album delivered at a slow funereal pace. The stand out track for me was "Blues For You Know Who". Dax is a criminally underrated artist more people need to hear. Let this album be your introduction.
