Scott Weiland
October 27, 1967 – December 3, 2015
While I was critical earlier this year of Scott's own denial that he had problems and that he was using defective equipment as an excuse for his poor performances, I held out hope that he'd break free from the chains that were holding him down. After years of abuse to his physical and mental health, Scott Weiland was found dead on his tour bus. My generation had Cobain, Staley and Weiland to tout as the leading grunge rock singers of our time. Sadly they are all gone now. Rest easy.
