MEMORIAL DAY MASH

A "Three-fer" For Your Review:

MONSTERNAUT: Enter The Storm
Monsternaut is reminiscent of Fu Manchu, The Heavy Eyes and Nebula, but have put their own spin on the genre, and have delivered a must-own classic.
Listen for yourself:
And I love this one:

Monsternaut is from Kerava, Finland.  They are:
Tuomas Heiskanen:  Vocals/Guitar
Perttu Härkönen:  Bass
Jani Kuusela:  Drums

ABRAMIS BRAMA: Tusen år
The title means 1000 years, and you'd swear that's how long Abramis Brama has been playing rock music, it comes so easily to them.  Listen for yourself:
And how about this intro?  Doesn't get better than this:
Abramis Brama are from Stockholm, Sweden.  They are:
Peo Andersson: guitar
Ulf Torkelsson: lead vocals
Fredrik "Trisse" Liefvendahl: drums
Mats Rydström: bass & vocals

CLOUD: Deus Ex Machina

Pittsburgh's Cloud have definitely met my expectations after hearing 2016's "Indeterminate".  They have evolved while keeping the heavy and raw energy that originally caught my attention.  Check out the beginning of the title track:

Cloud wrote "Neogenesis" as a tribute to the pioneers of stoner metal. It is truly great, as is the whole album:
Cloud are from Pittsburgh.  They are:

Jeff "Trash" Hartwell - Guitars
Josh Dower - Bass
Scott Rebarchak - Drums

Respect and many thanks to those who have served in our military.  We enjoy the freedoms we do because of your bravery.

Until next time
