WAKE
My favorite grindcore bands are the ones that scare me. It could be the violence you hear in the vocals or the ferocity of a band playing on the edge of insanity. Wake are able to contain the ability to be scary while applying traditional hardcore grooves. At certain moments they even pull out some majestic black metal layerings.
For starters, I highly recommend the NASUM'esque track "Wretched Tongues" that comes at your ears all fists of fury leaving you in a rubble of your own making. This is a twenty minute in length album packed back to front with dynamic and furious power.
