ULTRA'S SUNDAY STONER SOUNDS
First up: The Groke, from Finland. Most tunes on their album "Monstrorum Historia" have a strong Queens of the Stone Age type of feel. This tune, "Blind Eyes", is heavier than the rest and consequently my favorite track. It takes almost a full two minutes to get into its groove, but it's totally awesome when it does. Hope you enjoy!
Next, The Melvins. I don't like everything this band does, but I really dig the new album "Hold It In," pretty much from cover to cover. The tune "Onions Make The Milk Taste Bad" is my favorite cut, one of the heaviest on the album. Awesome track if you have not heard it.
