Today's Listen of the Day! is a classic album (actually two albums, original times of grace along with the ambient side project sounds of tribes of neurot, both created to be played simultaneously). I really got into Neurosis right around the time Through Silver in Blood was about to be released. The dudes I hung with in College loved the band and some were into the band from the first album when they were much more punk. I think this album is the epitomy of all things that occurred early in the formation of their sound and the latter half where it was much more experimental and ambient. Whether you are enjoying this for the first or the hundredth time, you'll have to agree that this is a timeless classic that's as fresh now as it was when it was first dropped.
