Singer Geoff Tate formerly of Queensryche will not go away. He has announced that after he completes his farewell tour under his former band's moniker, he will rename his band Operation: Mindcrime. If there was a ever a time to fasten a straight jacket around this baldy, it is now!
Operation: Mindcrime is the title of Queensryche's greatest album. Naming your band after a great album is as hacky as the music most cover bands play. Naming your band after your former band's greatest album is insane....insania...just plain dumb.
