TOBIAS FORGE(MAGNA CARTA CARTEL/Subvision) aka Mary Goore (CRASHDIET/REPUGNANT) aka Papa Emeritus I & II(GHOST)
This week I'm switching up our Listen of the Day! feature with a special Tobias Forge Tuesday. Some of you may know Tobias as Papa Emeritus of the cult band GHOST. As you will see he's no one trick pony. I'm including the band CRASHDIET within the list. He played guitar for the band on it's first two demos. Unfortunately I couldn't find much in way of his recordings with the band online to post here so i've posted one of their other tracks. The band is still active for all of you into more of the glam/Motley Crue style. His death metal run with Repugnant is my favorite of his projects. Subvision and Magna Carta Cartel are tame in comparison. Ghost has been his crowning achievement so far, garnering critical praise from a wide variety of musicians and celebrities alike. Dave Grohl has even dressed as one of the nameless ghouls in the past to perform during a live set. Next week we'll tackle another artist's work past to present. Enjoy!
