WINDHAND set to release "SOMA" in Sept. on RELAPSE - Woodbine Track and Album Trailer

Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, these doomsayers have definitely put out some choice slabs of Doom/Sludge/Stoner Metal on their past efforts and this one may top them all. Windhand's sludge filled riffs ride along waves of hazy vocals like a decommissioned barge left out to sea. If the first track WOODBINE is any indication of where this band is going I'm excited to hear the rest of SOMA when it's released on Sept. 17 by RELAPSE. The track itself is reminiscent of Witchcult Today era Electric Wizard with a lo fi buzz to it's production. Check em out!
